Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe/Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your safari begins with a warm welcome from your professional driver-guide. After a short briefing, you will start your journey from Kampala or Entebbe International Airport in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle.
Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of Uganda’s countryside. In addition, you will pass rolling green hills, small towns, and traditional villages. This gives you a true glimpse of local life.
Stop at the Equator
Later, you will stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and a short demonstration. Furthermore, your guide will explain this unique geographical landmark.

Scenic Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel
You will start your day early with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. This area is famous for its rich wildlife and open savannah landscapes.

During the drive, you may spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and warthogs. Moreover, early mornings increase your chances of seeing predators in action.
Your guide will also help you understand animal behavior. As a result, the game drive becomes both educational and exciting.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward.
During the cruise, you will see hundreds of hippos and large Nile crocodiles. In addition, elephants and buffaloes often gather along the shoreline.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha Sector
After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. However, the drive will first pass through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

This area is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. If you are lucky, you may see them resting in fig trees.
Afterwards, continue your scenic drive through rolling hills and banana plantations. Gradually, the landscape becomes more mountainous as you approach Bwindi.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today is the highlight of your safari.
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for a briefing. Here, you will learn about gorilla trekking rules and safety guidelines.
Gorilla Trekking Adventure
Afterwards, you will enter the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek may take between 2 to 6 hours depending on their movement.
Although the hike can be challenging, the experience is highly rewarding. Along the way, you will see birds, plants, and other forest wildlife.
Eventually, you will find the gorillas.
Gorilla Encounter
Once located, you will spend one full hour with them. During this time, you will observe their behavior as they feed, play, and interact.

Day 5: Return to Entebbe or Kampala

Along the way, you will pass through the Ankole cattle corridor. In addition, you may stop at local markets and craft shops.
You will also stop again at the Equator for photos or refreshments.
Finally, your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport.
