Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kampala

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your safari driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, you may opt for a short city tour to explore highlights such as the Uganda Museum, Nakasero Market, or the Craft Village for souvenirs.

Day 2: Kampala – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park (6–7 hours)

After breakfast, set off for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area. The journey takes you through the lush countryside and small towns of central Uganda. En route, stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exhilarating rhino tracking experience — a rare chance to observe these endangered giants on foot.

Continue your journey northward, arriving at the park in the evening. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge overlooking the Nile River.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise – Top of the Falls Hike

Wake up early for a morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, one of the best areas for wildlife viewing. Spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, and numerous antelope species roaming freely in the savannah. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating a powerful rush of water. You’ll encounter hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife along the riverbanks. Disembark for a guided hike to the top of the falls, where the view is nothing short of spectacular.

Day 4: Delta Game Drive and Birdwatching

After breakfast, embark on a Delta game drive in the park’s southern section — a haven for birdwatchers and wildlife lovers. The Nile Delta area is rich in biodiversity, home to elephants, buffaloes, oribis, and the elusive shoebill stork. Enjoy the serenity of the savannah and capture incredible photography moments.

Return to the lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may opt for an evening nature walk or visit a nearby community to experience local culture.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo Forest

After breakfast, drive south to Budongo Forest Reserve for an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure. This ancient rainforest, part of Murchison Falls Conservation Area, is home to one of Uganda’s largest chimpanzee populations. Accompanied by experienced guides, follow the forest trails as you listen to the echoes of the wild and observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat.

Spend an hour with the chimps before returning to your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 6: Visit to the Top of the Falls & Relaxation

After a relaxed breakfast, revisit the Top of Murchison Falls for a deeper exploration. Stand at the edge of the roaring cascade and witness the Nile force its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging 45 meters below. The panoramic views and misty spray create perfect photographic opportunities.

Spend the afternoon relaxing at your lodge, enjoying a swim, or simply soaking in the tranquility of nature.

Day 7: Return to Kampala / Entebbe – Departure
