Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Hotel

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Take the evening to relax and recover from your flight as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, set off for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. En route, stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track white rhinos on foot — a truly thrilling experience. Continue to the park, where you’ll check in at your lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise on the Nile

Start your day with a sunrise game drive on the northern banks of the Nile, where you might encounter elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and large herds of buffaloes. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls — watch hippos, crocodiles, and countless bird species. Later, hike to the top of the falls for spectacular views.

Day 4: Drive to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, journey south through scenic countryside and small villages toward Kibale Forest National Park, known as the “Primate Capital of the World.” Enjoy the changing landscapes from savanna to lush tropical forests. Arrive in Fort Portal town for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk

Today, join a guided chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park. As you follow their calls through the forest, you’ll spot chimpanzees swinging from the trees and feeding in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a community-guided nature walk rich in birdlife and primates.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game Drive

Day 7: Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Driver Nov 2023 • Family Stuart was a great driver and very friendly. He took us across the Rwandan border to Uganda and back again with both times being enjoyable and a good chance to learn about the local life. Would definitely recommend him!

Relaxing cruise ~ Lake Bunyonyi Aug 2024 • Solo I took a very informative boat cruise on the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi as part of our 17 day safari. We sailed the stunning waters of Lake Bunyonyi passing many of the 29 islands. My guide was Stuart who was very knowledgeable about the area, sharing the stories associated with each island. Stuart has an interest in photography, so he made sure that we stopped so I could take shots of the wildlife and birds.
