7 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Adventure

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our Kurikayo Africa Adventure's guide. Transfer to your hotel for relaxation and overnight stay. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a tour of Entebbe town or a visit to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Enjoy breathtaking views of Uganda’s rolling hills, tea plantations, and the dramatic landscape of southwestern Uganda. You’ll have lunch en route and arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon.

Today is the highlight of your trip! After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure. Follow experienced guides as they lead you through the dense forest to track the gentle giants. Upon finding them, spend a magical hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat. The experience is humbling, awe-inspiring, and will leave you with lifelong memories.

After your trek, you’ll return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest or take an optional cultural walk to visit the local Batwa community, learning about their traditional forest lifestyle.

Enjoy breakfast at your lodge before embarking on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, varied wildlife, and stunning landscapes. You’ll arrive in time for a leisurely lunch at your lodge, followed by an evening game drive, where you may spot elephants, lions, buffalos, and more.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the park's Kasenyi Plains, known for their concentration of lions and other large game. After your wildlife adventure, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, one of the most rewarding water experiences in Uganda. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and wildlife along the shores.

After breakfast, you’ll head to the enchanting Kyambura Gorge/ Karinzu forest for chimpanzee trekking. Walk through the lush forest while tracking these energetic primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, relax at the lodge or visit the nearby crater lakes for a scenic view.
